Instructors
At Scota Karate
Academy, our instructors have devoted themselves
to training in the art of Tang Soo Do since
the day they enrolled in our academy and the
World Tang Soo Do Association. They have strictly
observed all the rules and regulations required
for instructor training, and passed all technical
and mental requirements to obtain the rank of
instructor. They have demonstrated their commitment
to excellence through execution of techniques,
leadership ability, knowledge and strong moral
character to achieve instructor certification.
They have honorably and successfully attained
the International Instructor Certificate which
is given by the World Tang Soo Do Association
in accordance with its bylaws.
Master Scota (with Grandmaster Shin)
Master Scota began training
in the martial arts in 1988 and in 2006 acheived
the Fourth Degree Master's Rank status through
the World Tang Soo Do Association. Master Scota
owns and operates the Scota Karate Academy in
Taylors, SC.
